1. What is 3D-Secure?

3D-Secure is a XML-based protocol to allow authentication of cardholders of credit card companies in epayment transactions. 3D was developed by Visa to improve the security of Internet Payments. It was adopted and is offered with the service name "Verified by Visa" (by Visa), "MasterCard SecureCode" (by MasterCard) and "J/Secure" (by JCB).

Under 3D authentication program, e-buyer will be redirected to their issuer bank page where extra password or security info needed for authentication after they entered Credit Card No, CVV and Expiry Date at Credit Card Payment Interface (at iPay88's page).

Thus, e-buyer needs to enroll for the authentication code with their issuer bank before any epayment, usually via bank's official page.

The following credit card issuing banks in Malaysia are currently compliant with 3D-secure:

3. Know issue of IPay88
IPay88's FPX & other online banking service posts a Popup blocking issue. If you are paying via online banking or FPX kindly refer to question no. 3 below for related browser setting before continue. More known issue please refer HERE.


4. How to disable Popup blockers
Below are links to disable popup blockers for various popular browsers and platforms. Kindly complete this process before paying via IPay88.

If your order is still in "Declined", "Failed" or "Pending payment" status you may repay your order again via IPay88 or other payment methods such as cash deposit and Paypal. This feature is useful when you have miss credit card/bank payments. Just follow the steps below to find out how repay your order.

1. Log in your account.
2. Scroll down and pay attention to the "My Account" box at the left pane.
3. Click on "Orders". This will show orders you have placed with us.
   
   
4. Click on the order Id of the order you want to pay. This will show the detail of the pending order.
5. Scroll down all the way to the bottom. You'll see the screen shot shown below. Click "Pay order" to start paying via your favourite payment method.
